Aquatics

Swimming

A fraction of a second or one fierce exhalation can literally spell all the difference between win and defeat. Swimming, one of two Aquatics disciplines, is a major sport and has featured in every Games programme with male and female athletes competing.
Diving
Diving is included in the Games as one of the two Aquatics disciplines. It is a discipline that demands remarkable skill, great courage and deep calm. World-renowned male and female divers will take part in the events.
